SERVICE AND SUPPORT MANAGER - Booker
We are looking to recruit a Service and Support Manager for our Booker centre. The Service and Support Manager is a key member of the management team, supporting the General Manager to ensure that the centre runs smoothly and efficiently by improving profitability and general standards throughout. Specific responsibilities include stock management, customer service, financial performance, health and safety, facilities and HR.

You will directly manage and develop a small team which will include general assistants, a stock controller and a goods inwards assistant and be the Customer Service champion for the centre.

Successful candidates will have proven experience of managing in a retail environment with an understanding of stock management along with strong commercial awareness and analytical skills matched by their ability to manage and motivate a successful team in a customer focused environment, of which they can be proud.

This role is full-time position and will include working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis and some flexibility regarding hours may be required. Benefits include uniform, company pension, discount, free parking and an EAP programme.

RESTAURANT ASSISTANT - Booker
We are looking to recruit a General Assistant to work with our restaurant team for our Booker centre.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The successful candidate will have an ability to work as part of a team, operate a cash till, and not forgetting a talent to communicate with and serve customers. Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided.

This role is part time position (16 hours per week) and will include working alternate weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis and some flexibility regarding hours may be required.

GENERAL ASSISTANT - Booker
We are looking to recruit a General Assistant to work with our pet team for our Booker centre.

Specific responsibilities will cover all areas of caring for the animals, customer sales and service, whilst maintaining a high level of merchandising standards.

The successful candidate will have an ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative, operate a till, assist with planning displays and promotions, put out and maintain stock quality and not forgetting a talent to communicate with and serve customers.

RETAIL GOODS IN ASSISTANT - Oxford

We are looking to recruit a Goods In Person, responsible for ensuring deliveries are booked in accurately and stored in an organised and safe manner. Successful candidates will require a full clean driving licence, a forklift licence would also be an advantage but is not essential.

Successful candidates should have experience working in a similar environment. Please note this is a physical role and will include both moving and lifting merchandise.

We are looking for an excellent team player, who has good communication, PC skills (to include Microsoft Office and Outlook) and numerical skills as well as excellent customer service skills to work in our customer focused business.

HEAD CHEF - Oxford
We are currently looking for a talented Head Chef in our Oxford Garden Centre who has a good knowledge and understanding of working and managing a fast paced commercial kitchen, delivering food made from scratch to the highest standards. The role offers hours of work most Head Chefs can only dream of! 40 hours per week, working alternate weekends, no late nights and no split shifts, working in a great environment, with great teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef with the desire to develop and prosper or looking to gain some work life balance back.

You will support the Restaurant Manager in developing the Restaurant Team to meet their full potential. You will also be expected to demonstrate your skills and illustrate your enthusiasm and knowledge within the restaurant environment.

We are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Horticultural Manager for our Rivendell Garden Centre in Widnes, Cheshire. You will be joining a well-established Garden Centre, turnover for the plant area in excess of £930k, renowned for offering variety and a diverse range of products to cater for the needs of every gardener, delivering a pleasurable shopping experience. The appointed person will have excellent plant and product knowledge, good team leadership skills and will be focused on delivering excellent customer sales and service.

As the Horticultural Manager you will be a key member of the management team in the Garden Centre, supporting the General Manager to ensure that the Centre maintains its prestigious reputation for providing first class horticultural expertise whilst improving profitability in this commercial environment. Specific responsibilities include stock management, customer service, financial performance, health and safety, duty manager responsibilities including key holder responsibilities, plus you will directly manage a team of General Assistants.

We are recruiting for an experienced Retail Category Head to join the Buying & Merchandising team. This role has responsibility for selecting and developing the gifts, food and clothing ranges for our business. Based at our office in Woodbridge, the role also includes international and UK travel.

Key skills and experience required for success in this role are:
