RESTAURANT ASSISTANT - Booker
We are looking to recruit a General Assistant to work with our restaurant team for our Booker centre.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The successful candidate will have an ability to work as part of a team, operate a cash till, and not forgetting a talent to communicate with and serve customers. Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided.

This role is part time position (16 hours per week) and will include working alternate weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis and some flexibility regarding hours may be required.

OUTDOOR SECTION HEAD - Cranleigh

As the Outdoor Section Head you report into the Outdoor Manager and will have responsibilities within the outdoor department, making effective use of resources to ensure high standards of customer service, minimised wastage and maximised profits.

Successful candidates will have proven experience of managing in a retail environment, a good level of plant/horticultural knowledge, commercial awareness and analytical skills matched by their ability to manage and motivate a successful team of which they can be proud.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week averaged over a two week working pattern including bank holidays and weekends.

GENERAL ASSISTANT VACANCY - Maidstone

We are looking to recruit a General Assistant to work with our furniture and Christmas team for our Maidstone centre.

Specific responsibilities will cover all areas of customer sales and service, whilst maintaining a high level of merchandising standards.

The successful candidate will have an ability to confidently communicate, have strong numeracy skills with a proven sales ability. It is also important that the candidate is able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative, operate a till, assist with planning displays and promotions, put out and maintain stock quality and not forgetting a talent to communicate with and serve customers.

For this role, furniture/big ticket items sales experience would be desirable.

RETAIL GOODS IN ASSISTANT - Oxford

We are looking to recruit a Goods In Person, responsible for ensuring deliveries are booked in accurately and stored in an organised and safe manner. Successful candidates will require a full clean driving licence, a forklift licence would also be an advantage but is not essential.

STOCK CONTROLLER - Wheatcroft

CUSTOMER CARE MANAGER - Woodbridge Head Office

With excellent communication skills and the confidence to deal with all types of people and challenging situations, the customer care manager will lead a team of two direct reports as well as the relationship with our external call centre.

Working together as a team you will handle all customer care issues that come in from our call centre, garden centres or head office, through multiple channels ensuring that issues are dealt with as quickly as possible and the very best customer care is given.

* Lead a team of two customer service advisers

* Manage the relationship with our call centre based in Ipswich. Keeping the team well trained and briefed on everything that enables them to represent the Notcutts brand on our behalf

* Producing monthly reports on Customer Care performance, analysing data and identifying trends and recurring issues

* Implement appropriate systems and processes to identify and address the root cause of customer complaints

* Overseeing customer issues from multiple channels such as NPS, social media and digital feedback, ensuring effective and timely resolution

* Manage work flow and resource requirements throughout the year, planning ahead and anticipating issues. Flexing resource to support the calendar of planned activity and garden centre events

* Developing a strong knowledge of our products and services in order to provide help and advice to customers

* Keeping up to date with developments in customer service, by showing a real interest in the area, reading reports and articles, constantly looking for ways to improve the service given
