What is the Privilege Club?

How do I join Privilege Club online?

  • Joining our Privilege Club online is quick and easy. Just visit our ‘New to Privilege Club’ page to get started. We’ll walk you through a simple process - it typically takes just 10 minutes. You’ll start saving on website purchases as soon as you join. Join today, save today!

    When you join we’ll post you a handy joining pack with everything you’ll need to enjoy your membership benefits, including a membership card and 2 for 1 meal card. Don’t worry P&P on your pack is free!

    Our joining packs can take 7 working days to arrive, but sometimes take longer during peak periods or seasonal bad weather. If you don’t receive your pack within 14 working days, please call our Privilege Club Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4505 or email privilege@notcutts.co.uk.

I’m already a member. How do I get my Privilege Club discount online?

  • If you are already a Privilege Club member, there are two ways to get your discount online.

    1). On our Basket page, there’s a 'Get your 10% discount' button. This will load a box where you enter your Privilege Club card number, Surname and Postcode.

    You can find your unique Privilege Club number on the back of your membership card. It’s 13 digits long. Just enter your number and click ‘Apply’ – we’ll do the rest!

    2). If you’ve signed up for a website account with us, you can save your Privilege Club card number here too. Just follow these simple steps...

      Sign in/register’ link in the header
    • Enter your email address and password to login
    • Click the Privilege Club logo
    • Enter your Privilege Club member number into the box and click ‘Add Me’

    Once you’ve done this, you’ll get your member discount automatically next time you log on and shop. Your account will also show you your membership expiry date, as well as upcoming Privilege Club events and great offers.

I’m joining Privilege Club online today. How do I get my online discount?

  • When you join Privilege Club you start saving straight away. Simply add a Privilege Club membership to your shopping basket and your Privilege Club discount will be deducted automatically from everything else you buy in that transaction (excluding delivery and vouchers).

Top tip!

  • Not got a website account? For easy, quicker shopping next time, create a password when you finish checking out and your new Privilege Club membership number will automatically be added to your website account. You’ll then get your Privilege Club discount automatically every time you log on and shop.

How do I know what my membership number is?

  • Your membership number can be found on the back of your Privilege Club card (it’s 13 digits long). If you’ve lost your card, have more than one card or are not sure what your membership number is, call our Privilege Club Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4505. They’ll be happy to look your number up for you.

Top tip!

  • Keep an eye out for communications from us - almost every item we post or email to you will contain your Privilege Club membership number. Emails often include your membership expiry date too.

Why won’t my Privilege Club number work?

  • There are three places on our website where you can enter your Privilege Club number:

    1. Checkout (making a purchase)

    2. Renewing (buying Privilege Club membership for another year)

    3. My Account (for automatic discounts every time you log in & shop)

    If at any point the website won’t accept the Privilege Club number you’ve entered, our handy guide should help. Just check the message you receive on the website against the list below to pinpoint the problem:

    • Number length – your membership number should be 13 digits long. Double check your Privilege Club card (the number can be found on the back) and try again or call our Privilege Club Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4505. They’ll be happy to look your number up for you. 

    • Expired/cancelled membership – if you think your Privilege Club membership has recently expired or been cancelled, call our Privilege Club Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4505 or email privilege@notcutts.co.uk. They’ll be happy to help advise on the best course of action. 

    • Your details don’t match – in order to do certain things with your Privilege Club membership online, such as get your discount or renew, you’ll need to enter your membership number along with a few personal details. This information must match the records we hold for you. 

      If the website tells you your details don't match and that we don't recognise them, try entering your information again. You may have mistyped something. It’s easy to do!

      Have you recently purchased your membership instore? 
      There can be a short delay between joining Privilege Club instore and your membership becoming available for use online. It takes us a little while, around 2 to 3 days, to register your details and your new number (especially if we've recently had a special Privilege Club event). Call our member Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4505. They’ll be happy to check how your registration is progressing. 

      Have you recently had a replacement card? 
      Sometimes we have to issue new cards to our Privilege Club members. Old cards are usually cancelled so they’re no longer active. If you’ve got or have ever had more than one card and are not sure which one you should use, call our member Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4505. They’ll be happy to check for you. 

      Have you changed any of your personal details recently? 
      If you've moved recently or perhaps gotten married (if so, congratulations!) we may not have updated our records. Try your previous Surname or Postcode and see if that works. If it doesn't please feel free to give our Privilege Club Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4505 - they'll be happy to check our records and make any updates needed.

I have more than one Privilege Club card. What should I do?

  • If you ever find yourself with more than one card and are not sure which one to use, call our Privilege Club Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4505. They’ll be happy to look your correct number up for you. You can then dispose of the card you don’t need.

How do I renew my Privilege Club membership online?

  • Renewing your Privilege Club membership online is really easy, even if you joined in one of our Garden Centres. All you need is your Privilege Club card. This information might be helpful if you can’t find your card

    Just visit our Privilege Club Members Area to get started. We’ll walk you through a simple process - it typically takes just 10 minutes. We’ll then send you a renewal pack in the post (even better, P&P is free). Remember to keep your Privilege Club card safe! We don’t send out a new one when you renew.

When does my membership expire?

  • You can find your membership expiry date on any correspondence from The Privilege Club, including emails and post. Alternatively just give our Privilege Club Customer Care Team a call on 0344 879 4505 - we’ll be happy to look up your expiry date for you.

Can I renew my membership early?

  • Yes, absolutely. just renew instore or online any time before midnight on the day your membership expires.

    It couldn’t be simpler - when you renew early, your membership will just continue from the day the existing year’s membership finishes.

How do I update my communications preferences?

  • If you have created a Notcutts’ website account and associated your Privilege Club membership to it, you can update your own preferences online.

    If you do not have a website account or would just like to talk to us, just give our Privilege Club Customer Care Team a call on 0344 879 4505 or email privilege@notcutts.co.uk. We’ll be happy to update our records.

I‘ve lost my Privilege Club Membership card. What should I do?

  • We can easily replace your lost Privilege Club membership card at your local Notcutts Garden Centre. Please speak to one of our members of staff and they’ll be happy to help you.

    Or just give our Privilege Club Customer Care Team a call on 0344 879 4505. They’ll take a few details and help to arrange a replacement card if necessary.

How do I get my 20% discount during a Privilege Club special shopping event?

  • We always aim to give our Privilege Club members at least 7 days notice of our Privilege Club Shopping Spectaculars. Make sure you’re signed up to our post and email communications so you don’t miss these updates!

    The additional discount will be applied automatically when you make a purchase using a valid Privilege Club card – just the same as your normal 10% discount. How do I join Privilege Club instore?

  • Joining our Privilege Club instore is quick and easy. Just ask any member of staff or enquire at our tills. There’s a very simple application form to complete and just £10 to pay – our team will do the rest.

    Once you’ve joined you’ll receive a handy joining pack with everything you’ll need to enjoy your membership, including a membership card, tea & coffee card and 2 for 1 meal card. If you join instore, you’ll get your pack straight away. You’ll start saving on everything* you buy instore straightaway.

    Once we’ve registered your membership number on our system (there’s usually a short delay of 2 to 3 days for this), you can get your 10% discount online too! How do I get my discount online?

    When you join, we would really like your email address. Most of our updates are sent by email, so we recommend joining our contact list to avoid missing out on any great offers and events (it´s kinder to the environment too!)

How do I get my discount instore?

  • Just present your Privilege Club card when you pay for your items. Your savings will be automatically applied.

    If you haven’t got your Privilege Club membership card with you our cashiers will be happy to help.

When & how do I get my 2 for 1 meal deals?

  • As a Privilege Club member, you’ll receive a special card that entitles you to three 2 for 1 meals a year*. Don’t worry; we’ll always aim to remind you when these periods start so you can pop into your local Notcutts** and enjoy a delicious, great value lunch.

    When you visit us, just present your Privilege Club membership card and your meal deal card to the cashier when you make your purchase. The cashier will mark off the meal taken that month so you can have a record of the meals benefits you’ve used. Simple!

    *To ensure we maintain the excellent service we like to offer our Privilege Club members, Privilege Club meal deals aren’t available on bank holidays, Mothering Sunday or the month of December.

    **Unfortunately our 2 for 1 restaurant meals are not available at Maidstone as we don’t own the restaurant.

How do I claim my FREE Teas and Coffees in store each month?

  • Simply present your Privilege Club membership card in the restaurant.

    Each calendar month of your membership you can claim 2 free teas or coffees. Just present your Privilege Club membership card to the cashier when you make your purchase. Simple!
