Mattocks Roses

Mattocks Roses is the specialist rose brand within the Notcutts Group. Through it's rose selection programme it has introduced many novel and successful new roses to the gardening public.

Mattocks Roses was established in 1875 and continues to this day to take an innovative approach to rose marketing. The following pages detail the roses selected by Mattocks that are available in Notcutts Garden Centres. Mattocks Roses continues to attend the most prestigious Flower Shows and the roses are featured strongly and complement the other plants displayed by Notcutts Garden Centres. In 1998 the construction of the Mattocks Rose Garden commenced, which allows our gardening public to view the roses without having to trudge through a muddy rose field. Opened 3 years after planting, the Mattocks Rose Garden shows the best attributes of our roses in a delightfully restful setting.

The Rose Pruning and Celebration weekends that are held within the Mattocks Rose Garden provide excellent opportunities to learn about roses and their culture. This year Mattocks will be featured at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show. If you do not have an opportunity to see us at the Shows this year, please come along next year.
