Lots of branches and purple leaves, can't wait to get it planted
NOTCUTTS' Reply - We are excited for you too and what a bargain at half price!
The plant was exactly what I wanted - and looked as good as the photos. It looked healthy and bushy from top to toe. Another plant of the same type which I bought from another nursery looked more like a witch's broom with bare wood at the bottom 20cm or so.
NOTCUTTS' Reply - Thank you for your feedback about our service and for purchasing your Physocarpus opul.Little Devil from Notcutts. We are delighted that you are so happy with the quality of the plant you purchased from us.

Product Information

A dwarf form of 'Ninebark' with deep purple leaves which emerge bright red in spring. Flat clusters of pale pink flowers in summer are set off by the deep wine coloured leaves. An easy but little known shrub which is ideal for a small space or container in moist but well drained soil and sun or part shade.

Please dont panic if a plant looks different to the image on the Website. It is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just resting before it bursts into action in the coming season.

Plants do look very different throughout the year. Particularly in winter, many shrubs will look rather bare and stick-like and perennial plants may not even be showing through the soil.
