Restaurant
- Our 80 seater restaurant boasts an outdoor seated area, including a covered area and free wifi. All our food is freshly cooked by friendly staff and home baking is our speciality.
Where possible, we always aim to source local and ethically produced ingredients. We are particularly proud to have won a Silver ‘Eggsellence Award’ from the British Hen Welfare Trust for using only British free range eggs in all our home baked food.
Coach parties are welcome, but please do book first so we can make sure we're ready for you! We Love...
We love our local area. Peterborough Garden Centre is just a short walk from the beautiful Ferry Meadows Country Park. Boasting five hundred unspoilt acres of lakes, meadows and woodland, the park is perfect for walking, picnics, cycling, fishing, horse riding and sailing. The park also includes a watersports centre (with dinghies, row boats and sailboards) as well as a specially created wetland with two purposed built hides for nature watching.
Close to us, you can also catch a vintage steam train on the beautiful Nene Valley railway with stations in Ferry Meadows and Orton Mere. Once a year, you can even join Thomas the Tank Engine as he pulls your train to Peterborough!
Last but certainly not least we love Peterborough Cathedral. Less than 5 miles from us, the Cathedral is one of the finest Norman buildings surviving in Europe today. Take a guided tower tour, witness the beautiful hand painted nave ceiling, take a wander round the calming cloisters or simply take a moment for peaceful reflection in a private chapel. Peterborough Cathedral is the final resting place of Katherine of Aragon, and is the former resting place of Mary Queen of Scots.
