We want you to be confident about every order you place with us, so we keep our returns policy simple – if you're not happy with your purchase, we'll take it back.


Our returns policy, in a nutshell

  • We’ll refund the item or offer a replacement without delay

    Once you’ve been in touch, we’ll work together to pick the easiest and most convenient method for returning your items. It may be via post, collection from your home or visiting your local Notcutts.

     

    To help us find your order more quickly, it would be really handy to have your reference number ready. Don’t worry if you can’t find it though.

    30 Day Return Promise - Shop With Confidence. Our promise to you is simple:


    If you're not happy with your purchase - for whatever reason - you can return it to us. As long as the product hasn't been used and is in the same condition as when you bought it, we'll be happy to offer an exchange or refund. Just let us know within 30 days of purchase and we'll get everything sorted for you.

    Plants

    The beauty of gardening is that every season brings new changes. When you order hardy plants with us you can be confident you’ll be enjoying them for many years to come. All of our plants are delivered straight from the nursery in carefully designed protective packaging. We hope you’ll love your order, but if you are not happy for any reason please let us know.


    Please don’t worry if a plant looks different to the image on the website when you unpack it. Your purchase is very likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year, and just ‘resting’ before it bursts into full bloom. If you have any queries about whether your plant is normal, just call us on 0344 879 4166 or email us at customercare@notcutts.co.uk. We’ll be happy to check.


    If your hardy plant dies after it’s been planted, please do get in touch. As long as your plant has been lovingly and correctly cared for (which we’re sure it has), you’ll be covered by our five year guarantee. Just dig out a proof of purchase and give us a call, or email us.


    Turf

    Our turf is subject to slightly different returns rules. As a perishable product, turf unfortunately can't be returned unless it's damaged or of an unacceptable quality. We think our turf provider, Rolawn, are the best in the business so are very confident you'll love your new lawn! Click here for full information on Rolawn's Home Delivery Service.


    Anything Else

    Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

    We hope you never receive a damaged or faulty item from us, but if you do, our friendly Customer Care team will be happy to organise a refund or exchange. Call us on 0344 879 4166 or email customercare@notcutts.co.uk.

    Once you've been in touch, we’ll work together to pick the easiest and most convenient method for returning your items. It may be via post, collection from your home or visiting your local Notcutts. We’ll of course cover the cost of returns and replacements on damaged, faulty or incorrect items.


    Undamaged Items

    Whether you've changed your mind, or would just like to upgrade your purchase, contact us by phone or email we will be happy to offer you a refund or exchange. Phone our Customer Care Team on 0344 879 4166 or email us at customercare@notcutts.co.uk. When arranging to return an item, please take care of it for us and keep any original packaging. Please also keep your receipt safe. Unfortunately, in these circumstances we are unable to pay the return postage or collection costs.

    Just so you know, we can't accept returns of earrings or perishable goods.

    Refunding your Money

    To save you time and inconvenience we’ll always return your money using the same payment method you used for your original purchase. We are happy to refund the delivery charges and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us (if faulty or damaged) – that’s all part of our promise to you.
