See Santa

Christmas is a special time, and although this year will be a little bit different, we are delighted to bring you the opportunity to See Santa at Notcutts. Whilst it’s not possible for us to safely open Santa’s grotto or have Santa visit for tea or breakfast he will be there to bring us all a touch of magic this December.

Join us on the dates shown below at your local garden centre between 10am-12pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm for the opportunity to see Santa. There is no booking or ticket required.

You will be able to see Santa from a short distance and whilst no gifts will be provided, there will be an opportunity to take photographs or a selfie from a safe distance to capture those cherished Christmas moments. The wellbeing of Santa, our customers and our colleagues is our top priority and social distancing measures will be in place to help keep everyone safe. Please do bear in mind that you may have to queue for some time and this could be outside so do wrap up warm. It’s free to see Santa with no booking or ticket required.

Important note: With COVID-19 government guidance changing on a regular basis, please note we may be required to amend or cancel Santa’s visit with short notice. Please ensure you check this website page for any changes before making your visit this December.


See Santa FAQs

Do I need to book a ticket?
Tickets are not required for this free event and you cannot book or reserve a place. Simply visit our garden centres to See Santa at the times and dates shown above.

Am I guaranteed to see Santa?
Santa will be visible from a safe social distance at the times shown. There are likely to be queues so wrap up warm as you may be outside and please ensure you arrive in plenty of time. We cannot guarantee that everyone will get to see Santa as this will depend on the number of visitors on the day.

How many people can I bring to See Santa?
Please observe the government guidance regarding households, support bubbles and the rule of six, according to your local area.

Can I arrange for a present for my child?
We’re sorry but Santa won’t be giving gifts at this event.

If the event is cancelled how do I find out?
We may have to cancel at short notice for example, due to COVID-19 government restrictions. Please ensure you check back on this website page before you make your visit to ensure the event is going ahead.

Will Santa be outside?
Santa will be outside so please wrap up warm!

Will there be a grotto or breakfast/tea with Santa this year?
This year, there will be no grotto and Santa won’t be visiting us for tea or breakfast. Our restaurants are open though and will be serving a delicious festive menu.

Can I get a photo with Santa?
You will be able to take your own photographs or selfies from a safe distance to capture your magical Christmas moment. We won’t be offering a paid photograph service this year.

How long can I spend with Santa when we see him?
To keep the queue waiting times to a minimum, we will be respectfully asking Santa’s visitors to keep moving through the attraction. Please be considerate to others in the time you take to say hello to Santa and take your photographs.
