Which type of rose to choose
Roses come in many different varieties. Knowing which type to choose will help you find your perfect match.
Patio roses
Patio roses are compact plants that produce clusters of flowering blooms over a long period of time. Great for smaller spaces, edging borders and for planting in containers.
Modern bush roses

Modern bush roses produce masses of flowers, are mostly fragrant, have good disease resistance and often repeat flower. These include hybrid tea varities which are upright with long flowering stems and floribunda varieties which are rounder and have large clusters of blooms.
Climbing roses

Climbing roses flower on growth produced in the current year and are mostly fragrant varieties with fewer but larger flowers. Great for covering walls, fences and arches.
Rambling roses
Rambling roses are vigorous and often only flower once in the summer on growth from the previous year so cut back old stems after flowering. Great for covering pergolas or for growing through a tree.
