Heart of Eden Composted Bark Fines are a dense, finely textured mulch ideal for flower beds, borders, and large containers. With their rich dark colour, they create an attractive professional finish often seen in display gardens, beautifully showcasing flowers, shrubs, and foliage.
Perfect for weed suppression and moisture retention, this composted product also helps improve soil fertility over time by slowly releasing nutrients back into the soil. Ideal for both decorative and practical garden use, it supports healthier growing conditions while helping reduce garden maintenance.
Suitable for use as a mulch or soil conditioner, Composted Bark Fines should be spread evenly with a rake to a depth of 2.5cm to 5cm, with a minimum depth of 5cm recommended for effective weed suppression. On heavy or chalky soils, a depth of up to 10cm can be applied. When mulching around plants, always leave a small gap around stems to help prevent plant damage.
