It is vital that your greenhouse stands on a strong, secure, and level base. Here at Notcutts, we make sure that you have the right base for your greenhouse, depending on where it will be located, and the type of surface it will stand on. A greenhouse base is actually best described as a plinth or frame on which the greenhouse sits. It raises the greenhouse up (usually by around 5 inches) and creates a ‘step’ into the greenhouse. A plinth greenhouse base also fits perfectly to the edge of the greenhouse frame, creating a secure and stable structure.
