Bumblebees are entirely dependent on the right kinds of flowers for food. Many of these flowers have become scarce but as gardens cover more than 1 million hectares of Britain the potential to help create a rich habitat is enormous. This mix includes favoured wildflowers as well as annual and perennial cultivars.
