Available from Notcutts is the Berberis thunbergii Helmond Pillar. A dense hardy shrub with dark red-purple leaves which turn a brilliant shade of red in autumn. Pale yellow flowers appear in late spring. Deciduous. Ideal for the garden borders with its upright habit, very easy to grow.
