Superb all round variety. The red stalks are long and tender and are reputed to have the lowest content of oxalic acid of all rhubarb. Early maturing, establishes quickly. Can be harvested lightly in the first year by snapping or cutting the outer stalks, that will allow it to clump up for the following season. Excellent for forcing and very easy to grow. Hardy and disease resistant.
