Pteris Albolineata - 14cm

Pteris cretica ‘Albolineata’ are one of the most common fern varieties that are fancier and beautiful when adding colour and uniqueness into your space. If you haven’t been successful with growing ferns indoors, this fern will sway your heart. It is easy to care for and owing to its ability to grow indoors easily it earned the name- Table fern. These lovely ferns are great air purifiers too. As an accent plant, they brighten up indoor spaces, gardens, patios, balconies as well as centrepieces on your tables. Plant care

How much sun: Partial Shade to Full shade loving plant. Thrives best under shade or bright indirect/ filtered light.

Where to place: Place your Cretan Brake Fern where it receives bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun as this will scorch the leaves.

Temperature & Humidity: Does well in temperature ranges of 65-75°F. Can tolerate low temperatures. Like most ferns, it enjoys a high humidity environment (60-90%).

Watering: Always ensure your watering regime is regular. Keep the soil moist at all times (but not waterlogged). Water the soil and not on the plant parts as this encourages rot.

Plant Nutrition: Apply half the amount of recommended liquid fertiliser specifically formulated for ferns once or twice every month. Table fern should be fed during spring and summer.
