This David Austin rose is named for the Brontë Society, celebrating the bicentenary of the novelist Emily Bronte’s birth. The exceptional beauty of this rose is helped by the distinctive flat blooms. Each of these blooms has a wonderfully soft pink colour, with small central petals darkening to a rich apricot orange. Expect a strong tea and old rose scent, complete with hints of lemon and grapefruit. This repeat flowering rose bush forms into a bushy shrub that has a strong and healthy upright growth.
Please note that your plant may look different to the image on the website. It is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just ‘resting’ before it bursts into action in the coming season. Plants do look very different throughout the year. Particularly in winter, many shrubs will look rather bare and stick-like and perennial plants may not even be showing through the soil. We are passionate about roses. Which is why we are proud to stock roses from David Austin, renowned worldwide.
