Susan-Williams-Ellis is a David Austin rose that is named after the founder of Portmeirion Pottery, who was an enthusiast of the English Roses. This unassuming rose bush has typically beauty of an Old Rose, being a pure white sport of the pink English Rose, The Mayflower. A remarkable feature of both these roses is their being free from disease. You can expect a medium-strong fragrance with a perfect Old Rose character. This winter-hardy rose has an upright, bushy growth.
Please note that your plant may look different to the image on the website. It is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just ‘resting’ before it bursts into action in the coming season. Plants do look very different throughout the year. Particularly in winter, many shrubs will look rather bare and stick-like and perennial plants may not even be showing through the soil. We are passionate about roses. Which is why we are proud to stock roses from David Austin, renowned worldwide.
