Vinca 'Illumination' also known as Golden lesser periwinkle is a small evergreen shrub which has beautifully variegated leaves of yellow and green. This shrub is a ground cover plant with beautiful purple/blue flowers that does well in the shade. With wonderful visions of brilliant golden foliage trailing through the border and further highlighted by the pretty pale blue flowers from late spring this hardy shrub looks beautiful and makes an interesting plant all year round.
Planting: Ideal as groundcover, dig a hole slightly larger than the pot and place the plant in the hole. Firm any loose soil around the plant and water well. Water whilst the plant is settling, and during hot weather.
Plant Care: Cut back in spring when needed.
