Available from Notcutts comes the Gage Old Green Gage. Selected for its excellent old fashioned flavour and reliable crop, this partially self-fertile tree had a picking month of mid-August and a greenish-yellow when fully ripe.

This much loved favourite is derived from the middle ages and has a classic gage flavour.

Widely considered to be the best tasting of all the plum varieties.
