Meet the team
Our Manager is Jonathan Tew
As a team, we have a wealth of horticultural knowledge. We love gardening and working with plants just fuels our enthusiasm! We're particularly proud of our expertise in roses. Many of our team came to us from the Mattocks Roses nursery where our centre now sits.
A problem with your roses, a patchy lawn, not sure which is the best shrub for your border? We're always on hand and happy to help with any questions you may have. We even offer a soil testing and home delivery service.

- Our restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy lunch, or to just relax with friends and children.
Our menu has wonderful seasonal dishes showcasing fresh flavours as well as our year round classics such as our tempting steak and chicken pies, which are great any time of year!
Why not start the day with one of our tasty gardener’s breakfast or with one of our scrumptious pastries. Or pop in for one of our deliciously indulgent cakes with a Paddy & Scotts coffee, perfect for any time of day. Our lunch service offers a range of freshly prepared main meals and specials as well as soup, jacket potatoes and sandwiches.
From 3pm we serve a range of small plates, perfect for an early dinner, and our Deluxe Afternoon Tea (please pre-book).
We love our local area. Notcutts Oxford is just 6 miles outside the historic town of Oxford. Sitting in a beautiful rural location on the old site of Mattocks Rose Nursery, our centre is within easy reach of Dorchester and Abingdon.
Other great attractions including Wittenham Clumps, Harcourt Arboretum (the location for world poo sticks competition!) and Pendon Museum are just 5 miles away.
