Delivery and returns
Due to high volumes of orders deliveries are taking longer than usual and some orders are experiencing delays of 2 to 4 weeks, please bear with us at this time. Thank you for your support.
All orders incur a £4.99 delivery charge, except for large furniture where a £14.99 delivery charge is applied and vouchers where a £2.50 delivery charge applies. Orders for Privilege Club membership or renewal of membership as a standalone purchase does not incur a delivery charge.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery timescales vary from product to product, please refer to the delivery tab on each item for specific delivery information.
Standard delivery takes between 3-7 working days. There are a few exceptions:
- Plant deliveries take between 5-9 working days
- Furniture and larger items may take 2 to 3 weeks to deliver.
- Garden structure delivery is usually within 14 days, but can take up to 28 days
- Our bulk bags of topsoils, mulch and turf are subject to slightly different delivery requirements. Non standard delivery lead times will be shown with each Product where relevant.
- If the item you have ordered is coming direct from our approved third party supplier, you may be contacted by them or their chosen courier to arrange a convenient delivery date.
Orders with multiple items
If you order multiple items, we may despatch packages separately to ensure they reach you as quickly as possible.

Where do you deliver to?
We are proud to deliver our beautiful plants and great range of home and outdoor accessories to mainland UK and numerous Scottish gardens.
Unfortunately, we can’t offer our delivery services to the Scottish Isles, Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Anglesey, the Channel Isles and any areas located within these postcode areas.

If you have seen something for a loved one and would like to send them a gift, we’re happy to accept orders placed outside of the UK, so long as the delivery address is within an area that we cover.
How do I cancel my order?
Cancelling your order couldn't be simpler, all you need to do is have a chat with a member of our Customer Care team, explain that you want to cancel and give your order number. If the item has not been despatched we will make sure the order is cancelled for you. If it has been sent, our Customer Care team will be happy to arrange a refund or exchange for you. Please note a returns fee may be incurred if the product is unwanted rather than damaged or faulty.
Do you offer delivery on orders placed instore?
Delivery can be arranged for orders placed instore. Costs start from £14.99 within a 10 mile radius. Ask instore for full details.

- You can return something even if you've just changed your mind however a collection cost may be incurred
- We’ll refund the item or offer a replacement if damaged without delay

If you're not happy with your purchase - for whatever reason - you can return it to us. As long as the product hasn't been used and is in the same condition as when you bought it, we'll be happy to offer an exchange or refund. Just let us know within 30 days of purchase and we'll get everything sorted for you. The beauty of gardening is that every season brings new changes. When you order hardy plants with us you can be confident you’ll be enjoying them for many years to come. All of our plants are delivered straight from the nursery in carefully designed protective packaging. We hope you’ll love your order, but if you are not happy for any reason please let us know.
Please don’t worry if a plant looks different to the image on the website when you unpack it. Your purchase is very likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year, and just ‘resting’ before it bursts into full bloom.
If your hardy plant dies after it’s been planted, please do get in touch. As long as your plant has been lovingly and correctly cared for (which we’re sure it has), you’ll be covered by our Lifetime Plant Guarantee. Just dig out a proof of purchase along with the plant label and give us a call, or email us.
Our turf is subject to slightly different returns rules. As a perishable product, turf unfortunately can't be returned unless it's damaged or of an unacceptable quality. We think our turf provider, Rolawn, are the best in the business so are very confident you'll love your new lawn!
Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
We hope you never receive a damaged or faulty item from us, but if you do, our friendly Customer Care team will be happy to organise a refund or exchange, please contact them here.
Once you've been in touch, we’ll work together to pick the easiest and most convenient method for returning your items. It may be via post, collection from your home or visiting your local Notcutts garden centre. We’ll of course cover the cost of returns and replacements on damaged, faulty or incorrect items.
Whether you've changed your mind, or would just like to upgrade your purchase, contact us by phone or email we will be happy to offer you a refund or exchange. When arranging to return an item, please take care of it for us and keep any original packaging. Please also keep your receipt safe. Unfortunately, in these circumstances we are unable to pay the return postage or collection costs. It may be via post, collection from your home or visiting your local Notcutts garden centre.
Just so you know, we can't accept returns of earrings or perishable goods.
Refunding your money
To save you time and inconvenience we’ll always return your money using the same payment method you used for your original purchase. We are happy to refund the delivery charges and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us (if faulty or damaged) – that’s all part of our promise to you.
