Known as Peacock Orchid, they are native to sub-tropical Africa. Each gracefully arched stem produces 8-10 flowers with a sweet fragrance. The 3-4 inch flowers are star-shaped, pure white offset by a chocolate colored center. Blooms mid to late summer. Excellent for cutflower bouquets. The leaves are attractively sword-shaped.
