To commemorate the Treaty of Friendship and Commerce between Sweden and Great Britain, this David Austin rose was named the Queen of Sweden. Beautiful at every stage, this rose has exquisite little buds that open to half-enclosed cups and eventually grow into wide, shallow upward facing cups. The flowers gradually change from a soft apricot pink to a pure soft pink and have a delicious Myrrh fragrance. Repeat flowering, this bushy upright rose bush is ideal as a hedging rose.
Please note that your plant may look different to the image on the website. It is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just ‘resting’ before it bursts into action in the coming season. Plants do look very different throughout the year. Particularly in winter, many shrubs will look rather bare and stick-like and perennial plants may not even be showing through the soil. We are passionate about roses. Which is why we are proud to stock roses from David Austin, renowned worldwide.
